A word from our founder

Our story, in our own words

My name is Dipl.-Ing. Vítězslav Siegfried Bytomski and I am the founder of G+P Technik. I trained as a mining engineer, and my career has taken me from mining through printing to building my own family business.

1995–1998

Roots in mining

From 1995 to 1998, I worked as Sales Director at the German company Heintzmann GmbH & Co. KG. My work focused on sales and the installation of CLM (Continuous Longwall Miner) mining systems in Poland. These technologies were primarily intended for extracting coal from low seams.

This work was closely related to my original training. It was also a period in which I gained valuable experience in technical sales, industrial technology, project delivery and international cooperation.

The move into printing

As hard coal mining declined and mines closed in Germany, a career change became necessary. I decided to leave mining and enter what was then an entirely new industry for me: printing.

From 1998, I spent four years at Gämmerler AG, where I helped manage sales activities for Eastern European countries, including Greece, Turkey and the countries of the former Soviet Union.

There I gained extensive experience in printing technology and international trade, and above all built many personal relationships with customers and business partners. This experience and these contacts later became the foundation of my own company.

Founding a family business

In 2002, my wife Agnieszka and I founded G+P Technik near Prague, with support from the German company Gämmerler AG.

From the outset, we wanted to build more than a conventional sales agency. We wanted to be a true partner to our customers: to know their operations, understand their technical needs and support them not only when buying equipment, but also during installation, servicing and subsequent operation.

It was a time of strong growth in the printing industry, and G+P Technik grew alongside our customers.

Growth in Central and Eastern Europe

We founded G+P Technik Polska in 2005, followed by G+P Technik Ukrajina in 2008. The service company G+P Service was also established in 2005, under the management of Jaroslav Stahl.

At the height of our expansion, our Czech company employed six people and provided commercial, technical and service support to customers in several European markets.

Printing as a firm foundation

Printing has been part of G+P Technik since its foundation and remains one of the main pillars of our company.

Over more than two decades, we have worked with many leading technology manufacturers and contributed to numerous customer projects. Our work goes beyond selling equipment. From the start, we have aimed to provide comprehensive technical and commercial support: from solution design, supply and installation to servicing, spare parts and long-term technical consultancy.

Many customers and business partners have been with us for years. I consider long-term relationships built on personal contact and mutual trust to be among the greatest assets we have created at G+P Technik.

Returning to our industrial roots

After many years in printing, we began gradually expanding G+P Technik into other industrial sectors. For me personally, it was a return to my roots: to heavy industry, the technology and the environment in which my career had begun.

We expanded our portfolio primarily to industrial chains, belt and conveyor technology, and material handling systems.

In March 2023, we began working with the German company THIELE, an established manufacturer of industrial chains and components.

This was followed by cooperation with Schulte Strathaus on technical solutions for belt conveying. It opened up new opportunities and customer groups, particularly in cement plants, iron and steelworks, the glass and wood-processing industries, and other operations using conveyor systems.

Expanding our industrial portfolio

In 2026, we also began working with the Polish company Project Steel, which specialises in the design and complete manufacture of belt conveyors, conveyor systems and associated steel structures.

This further expanded our offering. Today we can provide increasingly comprehensive solutions, both in printing and in other industrial sectors.

The second generation of our family business

Another personally significant milestone is the gradual involvement of the next generation of our family.

On 1 July 2026, my son Bc. Maximilian Carl Bytomski joined me at G+P Technik as Sales Manager.

He is gradually taking responsibility for developing business relationships, looking after existing customers, identifying new opportunities and expanding our activities in European markets.

In 2026, he also founded his own company, Feiron MAX s.r.o., and a specialist online shop for professional lifting and slinging equipment, further extending the scope of our family business.

After more than twenty years of G+P Technik, my son’s involvement represents an important step towards the future. I am glad that the experience, relationships and values my wife and I have built can continue into the next generation.

Milestone2026The history of G+P Technik

Throughout my career, I have learned that technology and quality products matter, but lasting business is built above all on people, trust and reliability.

That is why the philosophy of G+P Technik remains the same as at the beginning: we want to know our customers personally, understand their needs and find technical solutions that make sense over the long term.

A personal approach, technical expertise, reliability and long-term cooperation with customers and manufacturing partners are the values on which we built G+P Technik and on which we intend to build our future.
